Fantasy brackets due October 3 at 5pm PDTUPDATED RESULTS BRACKET (as of 11/29/17) - The ChampionThe wait is finally over! We're kicking off our third annual Chocolate Sweet Sixteen competition with the first round of blind voting on Thursday, October 5 during our weekly chocolate happy hour.

How the competition works

We've organized 16 single-origin and blend dark chocolate bars into brackets of 4. Each week during happy hour we'll conduct a blind tasting of a bracket of four competitors. Come to happy hour, taste the four chocolates and vote for your two favorite chocolates. The two chocolates with the most votes in each round of four move forward in the competition. This is a blind tasting, meaning that you won't know which chocolate is which. If you don't live in the Seattle area, you're welcome to participate in the fantasy brackets and follow the competition. We'll publish the results each week after happy hour.

Submit your fantasy bracket for prizes

If you'd like to compete for prizes, make sure to fill out your fantasy bracket and submit it either online or in person NO LATER THAN October 3 at 5pm PDT. This is a strict deadline. In order to be fair to everyone, brackets submitted after 5pm will not be accepted. If you email us your bracket, we will email you a confirmation that we've received your bracket. If you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours of sending your bracket, please call us at (206) 282-0776 or email us to make sure we received it.

Purchase the bundle of bars at a discount

We're offering the bundle of 16 bars for a 25% discount again this year. The discounted price is $125. Order a bundle now and conduct your own tasting as you put your fantasy bracket together.

Prizes

At the end of the competition, the person with the most correct bracket, as determined by a panel of judges, will receive a $200 gift certificate to Chocolopolis. Everyone who correctly guesses the winning bar will receive one of the winning bar for free. Please click here to read the contest rules.
