Farewell to Chocolopolis

I have news to share that is bittersweet, and not just in a chocolaty way.

I am closing Chocolopolis at the end of July when my lease is up. As you know, I’ve been lovingly running Chocolopolis for over a decade and I’m ready for my next adventure.

While the doors to Chocolopolis are closing, I still have my feet firmly planted in chocolate. One of the things I love most about Chocolopolis is sharing chocolate and tasting experiences with the community we’ve created. I plan to continue offering tasting experiences, educational content and chocolate travel in person and online and I am still fully committed to my work in the industry as VP of the Board of the Fine Chocolate Industry Association. I'm not saying goodbye to chocolate, I'm just shifting my focus.

My favorite part of my job has been getting to know my customers. You are part of my extended family, and I hope to keep that aspect of our chocolate community alive. It's been an incredible pleasure getting to know so many of you. Thank you for your friendship.

While Chocolopolis may be winding down, I hope our years of sharing chocolate together will continue. If you would like to continue to be a part of the community, please make sure to find me on social media @ChiefChocophile (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook).  I will also be re-launching the Chocolopolis website and blog in August to reflect my new focus.

Thank you for 12 years of chocolate!

Fondly,
Lauren Adler
